Best Movie of 2009

Pulp Fiction may be one of the best movies ever made. Since then, I have been a Terantino fan. I think he has matched the level of Pulp with Inglorious Basterds.

Every scene had me on the edge of my seat wondeing "what is going to happen?" I could write pages and pages about how good this movie is, but I just don't have the patience at the this time. I will just say I LOVED IT!

A few months ago my wife received some return address labels from March of Dimes. So she sent in $25.

The organization must have sold our information as suckers; since then, we have been receiving at least one envelope of return address labels everyday. I kid you not - we receive a new request EVERYDAY.

GMC Acadia

Last week we bought the GMC Acadia and it is awesome! We needed a 3rd row since we have two kids now and with just a second row, there wasn't enoough space in the car to bring all of our stuff. We were looking at the Yukon Hybrid, but the Hybrid doesn't come with bucket seats, just a second row bench. With two carseats, there was virtually no access to the third row unless you were going to take out one of the car seats, which is difficult. So even though the Acadia is smaller than the Yukon, the interior has more functionality.

The interior features are better than the Yukon aswell. Navigation, DVD, dual moonroofs, USB Ipod, bluetooth, and more attractive trim.

My only disspointment is that the mileage hasn't been as good as the EPA advertised rates. It is supposed to be 19 MPG, but so far we're only getting 17+. This is very disspointing, but I'm hoping it is due to the cold weather and with snow more usage of all wheel drive?

Product Review: Palm Pre and Amazon Kindle

The Palm Pre is great. I just upgraded from the Palm Centro and my life is now upgraded because of it. I think one of the best features is that it links to my Gmail contacts and Google calendar. In the past I would break my phones and lose all my contacts which was just horrible. But now if I add a contact, it is automatically synced with Gmail, so I will never have that problem again.

I never thought I would have the need for Kindle, but I received it as a Christmas gift and I love it! Not only does it motivate me to read more, but the cost of books are generally 50% and furthermore, you can download newspapers and blogs daily through the wireless connection. The display is very good and actually looks like paper. I thought it would be just like reading on a computer screen, but that is not the case. I highly recommend this product for anyone who likes to read!

Saban

I respect him because he delivers results, but I don't like him. He was great for Michigan State, but sold out for the money. He was great at LSU, but sold out for the money. He was a Miami Dolphin, and said he was not going to coach Alabama (he said that about ten times) and the next week he was the coach at Alabama. Now he is about to win a national title again, and I am tired of him. I just wish Colt McCoy would've been able to play.
