Last week we bought the GMC Acadia and it is awesome! We needed a 3rd row since we have two kids now and with just a second row, there wasn't enoough space in the car to bring all of our stuff. We were looking at the Yukon Hybrid, but the Hybrid doesn't come with bucket seats, just a second row bench. With two carseats, there was virtually no access to the third row unless you were going to take out one of the car seats, which is difficult. So even though the Acadia is smaller than the Yukon, the interior has more functionality.
The interior features are better than the Yukon aswell. Navigation, DVD, dual moonroofs, USB Ipod, bluetooth, and more attractive trim.
My only disspointment is that the mileage hasn't been as good as the EPA advertised rates. It is supposed to be 19 MPG, but so far we're only getting 17+. This is very disspointing, but I'm hoping it is due to the cold weather and with snow more usage of all wheel drive?
