DVD/Bluray Frustrations

With some of these movies, everytime I put in a disc, it makes me watch the previews. When I click "skip track" on my remote, it says "operation prohibited by disc." Or when I click "menu" over and over again, it gives me the same message.

WHY?!?!?!

Why is it so important that I watch your stupid previews? Furthermore, the discs/players seem to be smart enough to know where I left off when I was watching the movie, so why can't they be smart enough to know I've already watched all of the previews and I shouldn't be required to watch all of them again?

This makes me sooooooooooooooooooo mad.
